We studied and researched the genetics of several breeds along with talking to several breeders prior to getting into this venue, as we are like so many other AKC breeders saying "Let's not blend our lines for designer breeders!".  After acouple years of study, we found a Standard Blue Merle Poodle that we felt could be the backbone of our  "doodle" program" and will begin our breeding program with F1s only of our Irish Wolfhounds . We have also moved into Saint Bernards - keep an eye out for puppies!

Breeding and Pricing Info

Going forward our offspring will not be based on color or sex but we will have to add  sales tax  and this is for pet only (no breeding rights) - all our Irish Wolfadoodle puppies, will be set at $2800 (plus Washington Cty, MO sales tax 6.725%), Our Saint Bernardadoodles will be set at  $1800 (plus Washing Cty, MO sales tax 6.725%) .

We will ask for a deposit at 3 weeks of age with the balance due by 7 weeks of age. For this price, we register them with CKC and we register the microchip. They will be almost housebroke, well loved and socialized, vet checked and parasite free. We have been breeding since 2009 and are well known in the bloodhound world (www.cycloneridgebloodhounds.com). We will also ask you to sign a legal agreement to spay or neuter your puppy along with having your puppy's stomach tacked ( wolfadoodles) no later than 15 months of age.

Keeva (wolfhound) - we are expecting babies, x-ray showed at least 10 (possibly 11)

                                     due May16th/17th

We ask that you take the time to complete one of our questionnaires if you are serious about moving forward with us for one of our outstanding babies (they have to be, as the parents are, right?) . . take your time and be honest, as this will become part of your contract and read about our process noted below the questionnaire. For some reason, the questionnaire will not submit to us if you are doing it on a cell phone, you must use a computer - sorry!

We have also given you some information about the two breeds that we  have available-   Irish Wolfadoodles  and St Bernardadoodles. Both are just wonderful breeds - large but gentle giants!

The Process of purchasing one of our puppies. .

We begin with reviewing the questionnaire that we have had you submit to us - if we feel that your lifestyle matches what we believe would be a good long term relationship for one of our doodles, we will notify you and get you added to our waiting list.

The process then begins . . the waiting is the hardest part . . the  female is bred, we wait for 35 days until we can confirm that it took and then another 25 days or so for the babies to be born (an xray is taken at 54 days for a puppy count so we can determine if this will be a C Section delivery or a natural delivery) and then 9 weeks for them to mature and develop . . become small dogs, ready to leave and join their new family.  We will stay in touch with you, once the babies are on the ground, on a weekly basis - we try to do it each Sunday - letting you know what they should be doing according to their age and what they are actually doing (we will include a few pictures, usually face pictures and please be patient with us - we don't edit them)! We post videos on our Facebook page, Cyclone Ridge Doodles, for everyone's enjoyment.

We begin to allow those on the waiting list, based by the date we received the questionnaire, to make their pick of their puppy around the 3 to 4 week time period along with our guidance (since we are with them all the time and the clients are merely picking from pictures). We can not allow anyone physically in with the puppies due to the rules and regulations of USDA and the State of Missouri. We also send out our contract and invoice for the deposit of 1/2 of the total cost of the puppy at this time with the balance being due by 7 weeks of age - this gives us time to complete all the necessary paperwork we must do to be ready for them to leave us at 9 weeks of age. We do NOT accept cash nor do we accept checks any longer (you may pay from the invoice with a credit card.  Once the full payment is handled, we register the puppy with CKC (as AKC doesn't recognize this breed yet but one day they will) and we will register their micro chip on your behalf. They will come to you with 2 of the 4 puppy shots that are required, a harness/lead, food and treats and a puppy folder full of information. We weigh them daily until they are 2 weeks old, then we weigh weekly - all of that info is noted for your records along with the time of your puppies' birth, if it was natural. They are seen by our vet, at least 3 times, here at our kennel, as we don't want them exposed to anything at the clinic and they are checked for parasites - they are always negative (we have a very good preventive program in place).

We handle and work with the babies on a regular basis so that they are calm and loving - they are bathed, nails trimmed, ears cleaned, trained to use a doggie door, exposed to different textures of floors and fed only the best of foods. They want for nothing!

We hope this help explains why we feel we can ask the price we ask - we are not a backyard breeder by any means! You can shop around and find less expensive puppies, but you will get what you pay for . . our foundation dogs are sound, healthy house dogs (children in their minds!).
